Robert William Brown

Robert William Brown of Gig Harbor passed away on Oct.20,2004 after an arduous battle with mesothelioma. He served as a Radarman in the Navy and most recently worked as an Optician at Costco in Tacoma. He was an avid golfer and loved to play Tennis. He was a past member of Kiwanis club and the Lions Club of Lakewood. Bob is survived by his wife of 49 years, Joanne of Gig Harbor and daughters Wendy Brown of Lynnwood and Cheryl (Brown) Ausboe of Gig Harbor, son Robert Brown of Gig Harbor, son-in-law Oscar Ausboe  of Gig Harbor, granddaughters, Emily and Dylan.  Bob will be truly missed by his family members and friends.  He will be buried in Tahoma National Cemetery in Covington , WA with a Military burial.
