Charles Albert Harrington 1930-2011

Charles Albert Harrington, Jr., 81, passed on Sunday, June 19, 2011. He is survived by: Daughters, Leesa Harrington-Squyres, Joann Cole, Karen Pritchard, and Lynn Pruitt; Son, Alan Harrington and wife, Patty; Brother, Bill Harrington; 11 Grandchildren including Careisse Mathews and Emalee Harrington; 14 Great Grandchildren including Charles Lyssyj.

Charlie was a Naval Veteran of the Korean War, serving on board the USS DeHaven DD-727 (48'-52').

Later in life, he volunteered at West Houston Medical Center, where he received a Humanitarian Award for his services.

Memorial Services were held Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 2 pm in the chapel at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home.

Donations are being made in his name through the Alzheimer's Association .
