David Lee Ellis

David's brother remembers:

I was not a shipmate on the DeHaven, but my brother David Lee Ellis (RM2)served on her proudly (1966-1970).

I remember the stories he told me after he got home in 1970. I believe that the years he served on her were some of his happiest. Sadly, David passed from Cancer in 2001 while living in Denmark. If the DeHaven is sailing somewhere in the afterlife I know Dave is probably on duty in the Radio Shack.
