Larry Morgan Andrews 1943-2011
Larry Morgan Andrews of Balch Springs, Texas went to be with the Lord on October 26, 2011 at age 68. He was born March 16, 1943 to Clifton and Ina Andrews in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.Larry graduated from Oklahoma State University and after college served as a seaman in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. DeHaven DD-727. Larry was very involved in the Boy Scouts of America and The African Violet Society, where he won awards for his violets. He was a passionate gardener and enjoyed his yard and plants. He was a member of the AKC for his adoration for boxer dogs. He had lived in the Balch Springs area for over 30 years. Larry was a member of Hickory Tree Baptist Church in Balch Springs, Texas. Larry is survived by sister and brother-in-law Joyce and Bob Trotter of Colorado; stepson, Ronald Braley and wife Tammy L. Braley of Balch Springs; stepdaughter, Tammy W. Hamilton and husband Terry A. Hamilton II of Oregon. Larry had seven grandchildren, one great-grandson and several nephews and nieces. He also leaves behind his two beloved dogs, Princess and Rachel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cliff and Ina Andrews; and infant brothers James and Stephen.
