Tour Information

Morning

The first thing on the agenda is a tour of Fantastic Caverns. It was discovered in 1862 by a farmer - or more precisely, by his dog, who crawled through an entrance. It wasn't until five years later that the first exploration took place: 12 women from Springfield, answering a newspaper ad seeking explorers, ventured into the cave. Their names remain on a cave wall today.

Because the beauty of Fantastic Caverns is vulnerable, the Cave is toured in jeep-drawn trams. Since you ride all of the way through, you experience the magnitude, the stillness, and the splendor of Fantastic Caverns while preserving its natural features. This is one of only two drive through caverns in the world. The second is in Venezuela.

Next we’ll go to lunch at Lambert’s Cafe. People who visit Lambert's Cafe for the first time are invariably amazed at the generous portions served on each order.  These generous servings along with their "THROWED ROLLS" have enticed many people to plan their vacation around a visit to Lambert’s. If you leave Lambert’s hungry, there is something wrong with you.

Lunch at Lambert’s is included in the fee for this trip. It consists of any entree on the menu $10.99 or less, and a drink. This includes about 6 different chicken entrees, 6 different beef and pork entrees and several salads. You will make your selection at the restaurant. The tip is also included in the fee.

After lunch at Lambert’s, we’ll return to the hotel.

Evening

We’ll board the bus and head over to Jim Stafford’s theater for an evening with Jim Stafford. Critically acclaimed as the "Victor Borge of the Guitar", Jim creates hilarious antics from everyday life – out of his mind and into your heart! Famous for his million-selling records, "Spiders & Snakes", "Cow Patti", and the infamous "My Girl Bill", Jim satirizes the obvious with his music and comedy. Only Jim Stafford can combine hysterical comedy with masterful performances on the classical guitar and heart-warming stories of the human spirit.

After the show, the bus will return us to the hotel.

Evening

Note: Transportation is NOT being provided for this event and the hotel does not have a shuttle. It is just a short walk from the hotel but the ground is not flat, it is at an incline. If transportation is needed, there will be plenty of people with cars and arrangements can be made in that way.

We’ll all meet (it’s a short walk from the hotel) at the Circle ‘B’ Chuckwagon for dinner and entertainment by the "Riders of the Circle B". The Horn Family will personally provide the high quality of music and food that they brought you at the Circle B Ranch in the Black Hills of South Dakota. The Riders are serving up chuckwagon chow and good ole' cowboy music

The Horn Family's ‘Riders of the Circle B’ serve the food right to your table on old-fashioned tin plates. Then the Riders bring around buckets of seconds to refill your plate until you say "Whoa!" The meal is slow-roasted beef, barbecue beef sausage, cowboy baked beans, foil-wrapped spuds, chunky applesauce, fresh-baked biscuits and hot peach cobbler for dessert! Also included are complimentary iced tea, cool water, and hot coffee. Supper and show is all done in two hours--so you're done in plenty of time to get to your next appointment.

Morning

Board the bus and journey to "Spirit of The Dance". Spirit of the Dance is the show that inspired individuals across the world to put on their dancing shoes and take Irish Dance lessons. It has made its way to Branson for you to enjoy. Inspired by the awesome success and brilliance of the Irish Dance show, Riverdance, the creator of Spirit of the Dance wanted to take things a step further. By taking dance steps that cross cultural barriers, and combining them with a wide range of music styles, David King has created a show that is a whirlwind of beating music and flying feet--it leaves even the audience breathless.

The music, ranging from Irish to Salsa, to Tap & Jazz is all original work created by David King himself. The awe-inspiring show provides a performance to beat all others.

After the show, the bus will return us to the hotel.

Evening

Board the bus en route to the Veteran’s Museum then a beautiful cruise, elegant dining, and a spectacular show aboard the Showboat Branson Belle.

First we’ll visit The Veterans Memorial Museum in Branson. It is a national tribute to the brave men and women who defended our liberties during the 20th Century. A visit to the museum is a powerful and emotional experience. As you wander the great halls of the museum you'll be captivated by the stories of these men and women who gave us so much. The museum is filled with the most incredible collection of wartime exhibits covering the heights and depths of human experience.

Then we’ll take a fantastic lake cruise aboard the magnificent Showboat Branson Belle. Journey past lush Ozark Mountains on the crystal clear waters of Table Rock Lake during our 2-hour lake cruise where we'll experience elegant Branson dining and the best in Branson shows.

Our lake cruise and Branson dinner show features Showstoppers, an exciting production starring a tremendously talented cast showcasing over 30 award-winning numbers. It's fun for the entire family!
